Not only has Hamilton seen an exponential rise in real estate, but Steel City has also increased its credibility on the food scene with delicious restaurant options across The Hammer. Like all businesses, these restaurants have had to shift their operations and adjust to life during the pandemic. To support them, we ordered in from some favourite Hamilton eateries (what fun!)

Bon Temps: This little gem is located in Corktown and its name literally translates to ‘Good Times’. Owner, Dave Fauteux (an instrumental partner for many Hamilton restaurants) and his team of skilled chefs create French-inspired dishes. Although this is an incredible in-house dining experience, the Bon Temps team also creates revolving take-out menus to help us have good times through this current lockdown. The Burnt Tongue
The ultimate comfort food spot for locals and beyond. Known for their fresh soups and gourmet sandwiches, The Burnt Tongue now has four locations across Hamilton. But don’t just take our word for it; The Burnt Tongue is top-ranked for best lunch and best take-out. Try the Loaded Baked Potato Soup; it’s a fan favourite. India Village
Ranked the number one restaurant in Hamilton on Trip Advisor, India Village boasts aromatic flavours, tender cuts of meat, and naan bread made fresh in the clay oven. Operated by sisters, this family business has locations in Dundas and Ancaster and caters to those experienced or new to Indian cuisine. Available to order on UberEats and SkipTheDishes and more.
Cowabunga
With 300 reviews on Google and many of them saying this is “the best pizza place”, this pizzeria is a must-try. The menu is simple; pick from eight pizza options, either medium or large, and you’ll be well on your way to pizza heaven with its premier ingredients. Hambrgr
Patrons gravitate here for the mouth-watering menu of more than a dozen burger combos and unique side dishes. Try “The Goodfella” burger loaded with mozzarella, tomato jam, crispy pepperoni, arugula, garlic mushrooms, parmesan dusted pasta crisps and roasted garlic aioli.
